ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot

The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is a beloved Thanksgiving Day tradition featuring four races (a timed five-mile run, untimed five-mile run, one-mile walk/run, and Kids K) alongside live music, children’s activities, a raffle and runner prizes. The morning of family fun kicks off at The Long Center for the Performing Arts before the Kids K at 8:45 a.m. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the race go to Caritas of Austin, a local nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness for people in Greater Austin. Nearly $3.8 million has been raised for Caritas since the Trot’s inception in 1991. Registration includes a T-shirt and a run guide.
