Event Description:
St. Michael’s Chancel Choir, guest orchestra and singers, will share Maurice Durufle’s “Requiem” on October 25, 2026 at 5pm. Requiem Op. 9 is a transcendent 1947 masterpiece that blends ancient Gregorian chant with lush 20th century French Impressionistic harmony. Durufle (1902-1986) was a French composer, organist, and musicologist. The performance will feature soloists, Heather Lewis and Hunter Mullen, and Dr. Joseph Choi, organ. Please join us for a reflective service in honor of All Saint's Day. A light reception will follow.
