Name: Parenting Tweens and Teens Seminar
Date: January 12, 2020
Time: 10:10 AM - 11:05 AM CST
Event Description:
We are excited to have Austin Family Institute leading this three-week seminar.  Parenting pre-teens and teens can present one of the most challenging experiences as a parent. We can often times feel helpless and frustrated when confronted with the transitions and adaptations that this period in our child's life require. Come join us to better understand brain development at this stage of life and ways to maintain connection during this period of growth. What initially presents itself as a challenge, the teenage stage of development carries with it strengths and creativity that will serve your kids for the duration of their life. This three-week seminar will help you learn to learn to help your child cultivate this stage of life, not merely "survive" it. Join us on Sundays, January 12, 19 & 26 from 10:10 - 11:05am in Room 407 in the Taylor Building at Westlake United Methodist Church for this helpful and informative seminar.
