Music Together® is a series of mixed-age (ages 0-5 years) classes featuring music, playful movement activities, and instrumental jam sessions for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The class offers a research-based, developmentally appropriate music curriculum with emphasis on adult involvement and entire families enjoying and making music together. A parent or caregiver must accompany each child to class.
Central to the Music Together approach is that young children learn best from the powerful role model of parents/caregivers who are actively making music. The program brings families together by providing a rich musical environment in the classroom and by facilitating family participation in spontaneous musical activity at home within the context of daily life.
Music Together is committed to helping families, caregivers, and early childhood professionals rediscover the pleasure and educational value of informal music experiences. All our teachers have successfully completed Music Together’s training program. Music Together applies the latest research in early childhood music development to the program and has been a curriculum pioneer since 1987.
Join us for the Tambourine Song Collection this Spring!
In this collection, you'll learn twenty-five Music Together songs and activities you can recreate at home, including our first French-Canadian folk song, "V'là l'bon vent." Your children will experience the contrast between galloping, slowing, sleeping, then jumping up with delight to gallop again in "See the Pony Galloping." In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, including an illustrated songbook and access to the songs through the Music Together app.
