Event Description:
Community First! Village is a development of Mobile Loaves and Fishes and is a master planned community providing affordable, permanent housing for people coming out of chronic homelessness.
Volunteer with the Westlake Chamber of Commerce Humanitarian Committee at Community First! Village.
We will find out our exact assignment the week before volunteering, but be prepared to work in the garden. Close-toed shoes are required. Long pants or socks, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray are strongly recommended. Additionally, bring a water bottle and a pair of gardening gloves.
Each person is asked to donate $10.
After you register with the chamber, you will receive a confirmation and instructions with a link to register on the Community First! Village volunteer site. You MUST complete the registration with Community First! Village in order to volunteer.
