Mental health involves emotional, psychological, and social well-being – it’s not just about having a problem. Resources like the Engage & Heal Foundation’s MindMap app, a free and comprehensive digital mental health toolkit, make it easier for individuals to cope with daily mental health challenges. MindMap offers community members access to explore and learn about mental health in safe, productive ways to improve their overall well-being and state of mind.
During this session, Kathleen Hassenfratz, LPC, and Stephanie Threinen will introduce the stimulus to create MindMap for students and adults in Central Texas. Building upon the Engage & Heal Foundation’s six-year mission of breaking the stigma and shattering the silence around mental health and illness, the presenters will share the vision and initial outcomes of MindMap, and why portable, accessible technology solutions like mental health literacy apps are necessary for cultivating a shift in understanding and acceptance for the broader population.
Even more! You’ll have the opportunity to download and explore MindMap in this interactive workshop.
