Christmas Eve Worship at Westlake United Methodist Church

Westlake United Methodist Church is an inclusive, service-minded church that welcomes and invites ALL God's children to worship on Christmas Eve!

10:10am - Our Christmas Eve Morning worship is a contemplative service of readings, singing, and prayer, fully centered on the manger in Bethlehem. Your Christmas Eve journey begins in a centering, calming, and prayerful space. Then, come back for one of our evening services that includes Holy Communion and ends with candle lighting as we sing "Silent Night." 

3:00pm - Family Candlelight Service with Nativity Retelling - If you enjoy utter chaos and the infectious joy children exude on Christmas Eve, this is the service for you! All children are invited to dress up and play a character in our Christmas Pageant interspersed with Christmas Carols.

5:00pm - Contemporary Candlelight Service - Rock around the Chrismon Tree to the inspiring tunes of Westlake UMC's Foundation praise band in joyous celebration of Jesus's birth!

7:00pm - Traditional Candlelight Service - Enjoy the traditions of Christmas Eve accompanied by inspiring hymns led by our Chancel Choir and accompanied by organ, piano, timpani drums, trumpets and more! 

*3pm, 5pm, & 7pm services include and inspirational message, Holy Communion, and end with candle lighting as we sing "Silent Night".*
