In an age where approximately 77% of all American adults report going on at least one date where they found that date through an online dating application, we are programmed more than ever to make very snap decisions about people.  But that programming did not begin with Tinder, the world’s most common such application.  Nor is it limited to dating.  Every day, in networking events around the world, people present themselves to strangers in search of new business and are instantly judged.  As networkers, we need the people we meet to “swipe right” for us.  But are we doing what we need to do to make that happen?  Come learn three primary ways that you can increase the odds of having those you meet out networking swipe right in your favor.

Greg Morrison practices family law here in Westlake.  He has practiced law for 32 years now and is the principal in the Morrison Law Firm.  Prior to entering the legal field, Greg worked in restaurant management and teaching high school.  Greg grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, went to a small university in Arkansas and then graduated from the University of Texas Law School.  He joined the Westlake Chamber and BNI within one month of one another in 2007 and committed wholeheartedly to both.  From his time with these 2 organizations, he has found a love for, and the science behind, networking.  He loves to share that information with others who are looking for a way to make in-person networking alone generate all the business they need to be successful.  Greg says his keys to success are being genuinely interested in helping others in any way he can and to give 150% effort one-hundred percent of the time.
