All are welcome to St. Michael's Episcopal Church's annual Lenten Speaker Series, which is free and open to the public. This year, our theme is “Grace & Peace.”
Each Sunday evening in Lent (March 9-April 6), we have a contemplative Eucharist worship service, followed by a speaker who will explore the theme from a unique perspective. Our April 6 speaker is Dr. Brian Brewer, whose talk is titled "Martin Luther's Search for Grace and Peace." Dr. Brian Brewer is Professor of Historical Theology at Truett Seminary, Baylor University, where he teaches the history and theology of the Protestant Reformation. A fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he is the author or editor of six books.
After the speaker, all are invited to a delicious meal in our parish hall.
We have children's and youth activities available between 4:45-6:45pm for families attending the event. Pizza and snacks are provided for both age groups.
